HA! I was expecting something like this real soon.

Me and my dad and (I think I can safely say) the saints of old such as Kyle Lake and Crazy Ray sincerely thank you Wisconsin.

Josh...brilliant. Why is that everything that is right about the NFL is somehow connected to Wisconsin?

Is Brett near god-status yet?

Erik,
Wonderful choice of words. "Connected to Wisconsin" rather than "Comes out of Wisconsin."

Mississippi should be getting royalty checks from the Wiconsin tourist board.

Thank you, Wisconsin.

Could you send some players to Cincinnati? I'm going to be there in a few months and I'm not looking forward to losing.

Josh...so now that I have a Mac, I've started subscribing to some sermon podcasts that I'll try and listen to for encouragement each week. One is Erwin McManus. I don't always agree, but his passion inspires me. Greg is another. No need to give you a reason why. And, you'll be happy to hear, Josh Carney. You're in some pretty good company my friend.

Well this sunday I'm doing Psalm 137. Dashing babies heads against rocks doesn't typically win anyone to Christ, so we'll see how this goes?

You've got guts my friend. Is that the lectionary text? I can see pastors all across the country sweating in their studies.

ironic story about this.

I proposed a three week series in response to the rise of popular atheism literature

the experience of the absence of God

part 1...from the depths hell (Psalm 137)
part 2...from the highest of heights...(Ecclesiastes 2:9-11)
part 3...in the super spiritual life (Jesus "forsaken" text)

incidentally psalm 137 happen to be in the lectionary that day, which is odd, because this was going to be my first break from it.

I call that predestination
